CRT Identification



One way to identify which type of CRT tube you have in the computer is to look at the black
plastic molding on the CRT neck. The LG (Figure 1) and CPT (Figure 2) tubes have different
molding on the neck. Set the switch on the 661-2347 analog board according to the type of
CRT tube in the computer.

Recycling Information



The plastic resin markings (in red) below identify the type of resin used in each part, in
accordance with the voluntary ISO standards 11469 and 1043. By marking plastic parts
according to one or both of these standards, recyclers can more easily separate different
plastics efficiently and with less cost. For example, >PC-FR< indicates that the part is made
out of flame retardant polycarbonate. Recycle the plastic part according to local recycling
regulations and programs. Refer to your local recycling center for further information.

Note:
The Service part number is listed
along with the plastic resin markings
(in red text). The resin markings
identify what type of plastic
is used in each part.
